T2, one of the TARGET Services, has now replaced TARGET2 as the Eurosystem’s real-time gross settlement (RTGS) system. This change will be soon reflected on our website.
The Market Infrastructure Board is responsible for the day-to-day operation of TARGET2, as well as the ongoing projects concerning its future enhancements. The advisory group for payments, AMI-Pay, is also consulted on issues relating to the provision and modification of the Eurosystem’s payment-related services.
National Stakeholder Groups
Each central bank participating in TARGET2 is responsible for organising and holding regular meetings with its user community at national level. These National Stakeholder Group (NSG) meetings are the main forums for discussing envisaged changes in TARGET2 with users, and collecting their feedback and requirements.
