Website certificate update

The public certificates for our websites (ECB, ECB Banking Supervision, ESRB) will be updated between 12 and 13 February 2026.

The certificate renewal process is entirely automatic. As a result, we will not be able to provide a copy of the updated certificates in advance.

Following this update, the standard certificate chain will be automatically validated, ensuring secure and uninterrupted access to our websites. We kindly advise users relying on legacy systems to update their systems to properly validate the certificates using the standard certificate chain. For users whose systems follow standard security protocols, the update will occur seamlessly and no manual intervention will be required.
