ECMS Governance
The Market Infrastructure Board (MIB) is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Eurosystem Collateral Management System (ECMS) as well as the ongoing projects to enhance TARGET Services.
Working Group on ECMS
The Working Group on ECMS is established by the MIB in accordance with the MIB mandate and it coordinates ECMS activities.
The focus of its work is evolution and operational matters, including planning, functional and technical specifications, change and release management, user testing, service level management, risk management, operational management and monitoring service providers.
The Working Group is made up of representatives from Eurosystem national central banks (NCBs), the ECB and the ECMS service provider.
Its members provide input relevant to their national markets to support the ongoing development and operation of the ECMS.
ECMS Contact Group
ECMS Contact Group discusses matters relating to ECMS processes that involve central securities depositories (CSDs) and tri-party agents (TPAs)
The group provides input on topics and functionalities relevant to these processes, such as user requirements, change and release management activities, system and message specifications, user testing and operational matters.
The Contact Group consists of representatives from Eurosystem NCBs, the ECB, CSDs, TPAs and the ECMS service provider.
