The great financial crisis: lessons for financial stability and monetary policy - A colloquium in honour of Lucas Papademos

After eight years of service as Vice-President of the European Central Bank, the mandate of Lucas Papademos will end on 31 May 2010. In order to honour his career both as a distinguished academic and as an eminent central banker, the ECB will host a two-day colloquium entitled “The great financial crisis: lessons for financial stability and monetary policy - A colloquium in honour of Lucas Papademos” in Frankfurt am Main on Thursday, 20 and Friday, 21 May 2010.
The colloquium will start at approximately 3.00 p.m. on 20 May 2010. The second day will start at 9.30 a.m. and finish at approximately 12:45 p.m.
