Digital euro
The Eurosystem is preparing for the potential issuance of a digital euro to complement physical cash.
Coming up today at 15:30 CET: Executive Board member Piero Cipollone appears before the European Parliament’s Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs to discuss how we are ensuring people’s freedom to pay by issuing cash in both physical and digital form.
