Public consultation on the Eurosystem’s Appia project
This public consultation gives public and private sector stakeholders the opportunity to provide feedback on the approach set out in the publication Appia – paving the way for a future-ready, integrated financial ecosystem leveraging tokenisation and DLT.
In their responses, stakeholders can also express their interest in being actively involved in the analytical and practical work by submitting proposals on specific potential opportunities for collaboration. The proposals are solely for the Eurosystem’s consideration; the Eurosystem reserves the right to determine the type of work it wishes to pursue and how it will proceed.
Responses can be submitted via the dedicated online survey platform until 22:00 CET on 22 April 2026.
Please note that the Eurosystem will only accept responses submitted via the online survey platform. An overview of the questions and guidance on submitting responses are provided below.
Following the public consultation, the Eurosystem will consider and publish the feedback received, as described in the provided documentation.
