The Market Infrastructure Board (MIB), in its capacity as system owner, is ultimately responsible for all decisions related to the TARGET consolidation project. It established a TARGET consolidation contact group, which advises on planning, functional and technical specifications, user testing, migration and change management activities. The group consists of market representatives, central banks and providers of the future services. It replaces the task force on future RTGS services, which helped define the user requirements for the services that fall under the project.
