ECB announces new Secretary to its decision-making bodies

  • Pedro Gustavo Teixeira to become Secretary to ECB decision-making bodies and Director General Secretariat as of 1 January 2016
  • Petra Senkovic to become Secretary to the Supervisory Board

The European Central Bank (ECB) announced today that Pedro Gustavo Teixeira, 45, will become the new Secretary to its decision-making bodies and Director General Secretariat as of 1 January 2016. Previously Secretary to the Supervisory Board in ECB Banking Supervision, Mr Teixeira succeeds Pierre van der Haegen, who will serve the Executive Board as adviser until his retirement on 31 March 2016.

The ECB also announced that Petra Senkovic, 45, will become Secretary to the Supervisory Board and Director in Directorate Secretariat to the Supervisory Board as of 1 January 2016. Ms Senkovic is currently Deputy Director General Legal Services.
