List of eligible marketable assets
Please note that as of 7 June a new issuer/guarantor group will be published, which is a reclassification of some entities currently in issuer/guarantor groups IG3/GG3 and IG9/GG9. The new issuer/guarantor group IG11/GG11 will represent ‘Corporations in the government sector’.
The list of eligible marketable assets is updated every day from Monday to Friday, excluding TARGET2 closing days, at 18:30 CET.
It is published via the Market Information Dissemination (MID) system.
Starting from 22 January 2016, the “haircut_own_use” field will be populated with the valuation haircut applicable for covered bonds eligible for own use, as indicated by the Guideline ECB/2015/35, published on 20 November 2015.

The single framework for eligible assets came into effect on 1 January 2007 and replaced the previous two-tier system.
In addition to eligible marketable assets, certain non-marketable assets are eligible for use as collateral in Eurosystem credit operations, in line with the "General framework".
Only marketable assets issued by non-financial corporations without a rating from an external credit assessment institution for the issue, issuer or guarantor are not included in the list of eligible marketable assets. For these debt instruments, the eligibility status depends on the credit assessment issued by the credit assessment-provider chosen by the respective counterparty in accordance with the rules of the Eurosystem credit assessment framework.
