Subscribe to the ECB news feeds to receive press releases, speeches, publications, exchange rates etc. as they are issued. The news feeds fetch the updates automatically – no need to check the website continually.
Subscribing to RSS news feeds requires a feed reader or news reader. Some browsers (e.g. Mozilla Firefox and
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7) as well as e-mail
clients have this functionality included. Look for one of the news feed icons
in the address bar.
Subscribing is usually as simple as clicking the news feed icon
or
or copying the feed link from the web browser into your feed reader.
Depending on the frequency you choose, the feed reader
periodically asks all servers in its list of feed links if they have new content. If so, it either makes a note of the
new content or downloads it.
