Financial Regulations, Intermediation, Stability and Productivity (I)

The European Central Bank is co-sponsoring, together with the Asian Bureau of Finance and Economic Research, the Conference “Financial Regulations, Intermediation, Stability and Productivity (I)” which will take place on 16–17 January, 2017. The conference is first of a series of events which will focus on the stability and efficiency implications of the financial re-regulation that has been taking place in many countries since the Global Financial Crisis. The primary purpose of this conference is to bring together leading financial practitioners, researchers, policymakers, and academics throughout the financial community to discuss important current issues related to the drivers of financial regulation and its impact on international capital flows, financial institutions’ profitability, and the overall economy’s productive performance, with a particular focus on Asian economies.

The conference will be held at the National University of Singapore Business School.

The deadline for submissions is 31 October 2016.
