The European Central Bank (ECB) will today publish a volume entitled "Monetary analysis: Tools and Applications". The book contains contributions by staff of central banks of the European Union and other G10 central banks, which were prepared for a seminar held at the ECB in November 2000. The aim of the seminar was to obtain an overview of the various approaches used by major central banks to analyse and assess monetary developments.
The volume can be obtained free of charge by writing to the ECB's Press Division (see contact details below). In addition, the proceedings can be accessed via the ECB's website [pdf 4 MB].
