The ECB and the EU Commission are jointly sponsoring and organising a conference on Financial integration and stability: the legacy of the crisis.
The ECB President, Jean-Claude Trichet, and the newly appointed EU Commissioner for Internal Market, Michel Barnier, will be joined by a selected number of top-level financial market participants, policymakers and academics in a debate on the implications of the financial crisis for the integration and stability of European and international financial markets.
