Seminar on banknote substrate

As part of its permanent review of processes and procedures as regards the production of the
euro banknotes, the ECB is currently exploring a wide range of options regarding substrates
for future banknote designs.
The level of information in the industry regarding the Eurosystem's approach and requirements varies.
Therefore, in view of achieving a common understanding, the ECB will be hosting a seminar for
substrate developers and manufacturers, to address matters of the ECB's general policy,
requirements and mechanisms.
Participation is strictly limited to all interested substrate developers and manufacturers.
