The ECB will host the 7th joint ECB/CEPR labour market workshop on 16-17 December 2010 on the topic of “Unemployment developments after the crisis”. As the economy recovers from the economic downturn, understanding the ways in which labour markets in Europe as well as in other industrialised countries respond and adjust is of fundamental importance. Suitable research topics for paper submissions include the following:
We welcome submissions that apply theoretical or empirical tools to analyse and project developments in the labour market.
We invite researchers wishing to submit their original contributions for presentation at this workshop to apply online and indicate whether or not you wish to present a paper. The deadline for replies is 18:00 GMT on Wednesday 24th September 2010.
